3 Year Old Preschool

In September 2015, Blessed Sacrament School proudly opened a Preschool program for 3-year-old children. Due to its success, a second classroom was added in the 2019–2020 school year, followed by a third in 2024–2025. Today, the BSS Preschool serves as the primary point of entry into our school community, offering a curriculum and daily schedule - including specials such as music, art, and physical education - that reflect the mission and values guiding a BSS education for over 50 years.

BSS Preschool Program  -  2026 - 2027 School Year Options

• 3-Day Program: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

• 5-Day Program: Monday through Friday
  
  

Schedule Options for Both Programs:

• Half-Day: 8:00AM - 12:00PM

• Full-Day: 8:00 AM – 2:20PM

Preschool students are also welcome to participate in our Extended Day Programs. Morning Care is available from 7:00 a.m. until the start of school, and Afternoon Extended Day runs from 2:20 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Students must be 3 years old before September 1st and fully potty trained to qualify for admission. No pull ups, training pants or diapers may be worn while at school.  
Preschool enrollment is limited to 15 students per classroom and each classroom is staffed by a teacher and a full-time aide.

At BSS, our Preschool students learn through purposeful play. Through thoughtfully designed learning centers and hands-on activities, our youngest learners are encouraged to explore, discover, and grow into the beautiful individuals God created them to be. In a safe, nurturing environment, students are guided to ask questions, make predictions, and make sense of the world around them.

We place a strong emphasis on developing early social and emotional skills, including taking initiative, problem-solving, and navigating interactions with peers and adults. Working together as a team, our teachers and parents help set meaningful goals that support each child’s social, emotional, and intellectual development.

Spots are limited, so we encourage you to apply early! Admissions for the next school year open each mid-October.
